Veterans Day
Friday Nov 10th we will be holding serves at two cemeteries. The first event will take place at the St. Andrews Lutheran Cemetery on St. Andrews Road at 10 AM, the second will be at the cemetery on Piney Grove Road at 11 AM. The Saturday prior we will place flags on the graves of the veterans buried there.
Thanksgiving Dinner
Our Thanksgiving Dinner will be on November 14th. Attendees are asked to bring a side dish and/or dessert. Please let the Adjutant know if you are planning to attend, and if you are brining any guests.
Doughnuts With Santa
On Saturday Dec 9th we will have a morning of doughnuts with Santa Clause at our Post. Children can enjoy a doughnut and drink and visit with Santa. They can have a photo taken with Santa for $15, five of which will go to the American Legion Post 174 Children and Youth programs. The event will go from 9 am until 11 am.
Christmas Party
Our December meeting will focus on our Annual Christmas Party. Dinner will be finger food and desserts. There will be a White Elephant gift exchange, with a $20 limit on the cost of the gifts. Every person must bring a gift in order to participate.
Coffee and War Stories
Join us each Wednesday morning from 8 am tom 10 am. Share camaraderie, make new friends, and have fun sharing your thoughts and experiences with other veterans.
MEMORIAL DAY/MEMORIAL BRICK DEDICATION
Memorial day ceremony, and Memorial Brick Installation and Dedication will on May 27th at 11:00AM At the Post located at 801 Piney Woods Road.
4TH ANNUAL CLASSIC CAR SHOW
THE 4TH ANNUAL ST. ANDREWS/IRMO AMERICAN LEGION POST 174 CLASSIC CAR SHOW will be held on Saturday July 6th from 9:00AM to 1:00 PM.
NEW MEMBER INITIATION CEREMONY
New Member Initiation Ceremony will be held on Saturday July 20 at 6:00PM, at the Post. We will be initiating all new members to the Post from Dec 2022 until present day.
